Steelers' Shazier Undergoes Spinal Stabilization Surgery

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier is recovering from spinal stabilization surgery.  The team announced he underwent the procedure to address his spinal injury on Wednesday night at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  Shazier was hurt during Monday's 23-20 win at Cincinnati while making a tackle on Bengals wide receiver Josh Malone in the first quarter.  He hit Malone low with his shoulder pads and immediately grabbed his back while his legs remained motionless.

The 25-year-old leads the Steelers in tackles, interceptions and pass deflections this season.
