Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens predicted that seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady would be snubbed during his first year of eligibility in 2028.

Owens spoke exclusively to the California Post at Super Bowl LX Radio Row in Santa Clara on behalf of Sharpie and acknowledged Brady's longtime New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and team owner Robert Kraft were both snubbed this past week.

“Honestly, if you’re looking at it, if Belichick doesn’t go in and Robert Kraft doesn’t go in first ballot, Tom Brady shouldn’t go in," Owens said. “I’m just being real. It’s nothing against him. How can you have Tom Brady go in when he’s up in 2028? Why would he go in if Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick don’t go in on the first go-around?

“Because to be quite honest, yeah, is Tom Brady a good quarterback? Yeah. He’s not the quarterback he is without Robert Kraft drafting him. He’s not the quarterback he is without Bill Belichick. They all go hand-in-hand. So to me, why would he go in and those two don’t?

“He shouldn’t go in either.”

Belichick's snubbing was a surprise to may as he is a record six-time Super Bowl champion head coach, two-time Super Bowl champion assistant coach and the third-winningest coach in NFL history as one of seven NFL head coaches to have spent more than 20 years with one franchise following George Halas (40) of the Chicago Bears, Curly Lambeau (29) of the Green Bay Packers, Tom Landry (29) of the Dallas Cowboys, Don Shula (26) of the Miami Dolphins, Steven Owen (24) of the New York Giants and Chuck Noll of the Pittsburgh Steelers, all of whom have been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Brady is the NFL's all-time passing leader for yards and touchdowns, as well as quarterback wins and Super Bowl victories. The seven-time Super Bowl champion is also currently a part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces, the English soccer club Birmingham City FC and cricket's Birmingham Phoenix, as well as having investments in Major League Pickleball and E1 Series racing.
