Brown named to CSC Academic All-District

FRESNO, Calif.- The Fresno State women's basketball team saw one student-athlete earn recognitions by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) to the 2023-24 Academic All-District® Division I women's basketball team this week.

CSC recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

The Bulldogs represented on the team include Keely Brown.

Each student-athlete selected is at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and carries a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50. Student-athletes selected must also be a consistent contributor on the field, having competed in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests played OR started in at least 66 percent of the games.

Brown, who excelled on the field this season by 28 starts in 33 games played and is a three time captain. In the classroom, Brown held a 3.7 GPA as a Biology major and will be graduating this spring.
