RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. — The Fresno State women's golf team secured a fifth-place finish at the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women's Golf Championship, held at the par-72, 6,286-yard Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club. The Bulldogs posted a team score of 34-over-par 898.
Fresno State saved its best for last, climbing two spots on the leaderboard with a strong final round of 1-over 289 on day three.
Junior Katelyn Lehigh led the Bulldogs, tying for fifth overall. She carded her best round of the tournament on the final day with a 1-under 71, finishing with a 3-over-par 219.
Vunnisa Vu also delivered a solid performance, tying for eighth at 7-over 223 after shooting 2-over in the final round.
Motoko Shimoji earned a top-20 finish, tying for 18th at 12-over, while Amelia Garibaldi narrowly missed the top 25, finishing tied for 26th at 15-over. Berglind Erla Baldursdottir rounded out the Fresno State lineup at 29-over.
