"Fresno State football is the heartbeat of the Valley, and we're thrilled to showcase it live on CBS47," said Matt Morse, vice president and general manager of Nexstar Media Group. "This broadcast is another step in our expanding partnership with Fresno State Athletics, and we couldn't be more proud to highlight the energy, tradition, and Bulldog spirit that unites our community."
This expanded partnership underscores a shared commitment to provide Fresno State fans with greater access to Bulldog Athletics, enhancing the game day experience both inside the stadium and at home.
"We're grateful for Nexstar's continued commitment to Bulldog Athletics and to the Valley," said Garrett Klassy, Fresno State Director of Athletics. "Showcasing our student-athletes on a primetime stage like CBS47 not only highlights their talent and hard work, but also strengthens the connection between our program and the community we proudly represent. September 13 will be a special night at Valley Children's Stadium, and we're excited that fans at home will be able to share in that experience."
The Sept. 13 matchup will be the first of multiple events broadcast as part of the extended partnership, which includes expanded coverage of additional sports such as basketball, softball, and baseball, further spotlighting Bulldog student-athletes across the region.
Fans everywhere can follow the game on the Mountain West Network, but also have the option to watch locally on CBS47.
