The #1 gofer in the world, Scottie Scheffler made some comments recently from the Open Championship about his competitive drive and motivation when it comes to his career that has the sports world reconsidering what it means to be a successful professional athlete. Doug chalks it up to changes in generational thinking as younger athletes seem to have a different idea of what it takes to be truly happy.
Doug Gottlieb: “I listen to it, and I think; Scottie Scheffler doesn’t love golf, he’s just great at golf. And that’s OK if he doesn’t love golf and he’s not just an absolute killer competitor, and it is amazing how good he is considering those two things.”
